Dependent and Independent, Celebrating BabyWearing & ToddlerWearing Week

Snuggly BabyWearing

That’s how worthygoods got it’s start.

Yep, back in March 2008, you would have found one spankin’ new Etsy shop, four worthygoods shimmer dot slings and a proud babywearing momma. Seeing this photo, I’m falling in love all over again with that new little guy, cozily peeking out of the sling. Getting a birds-eye view of the surroundings while confidently snugged-up against his mum. So easy. Those simple pieces of fabric kept me heartbeat-to-heartbeat with my little guy without sitting under him all day, allowed him to sleep long periods of time, easing my mind while I got stuff done and surprisingly enough, strengthened my core muscles more and more as he grew heavier. I wouldn’t do it again without one, that’s for sure.

Selena Mae started all this reminiscing when she asked for a few baby, toddler, even kiddo-dolly-wearing photos for her articles celebrating International Babywearing Week:

25 Amazing Babywearing Images From Around The World

Not a Martyr: 25 Stunning & Extraordinary ToddlerWearing Images from Around the World

Don’t miss them. They’re a treat.

Thanks, Selena Mae! Looking for a sling? Find them in the shop.
