Crushing on Stonington

Every year my family heads to Deer Isle to stay in the very same cottage in Stonington, a lobster fishing village on the Maine coast. There is a small sandy beach on each side that is studded with sea glass. Every. Time. The. Tide. Goes. Out. The tide begins by putting us all on its schedule. When that’s accomplished, we meander the beach, lounge, act silly, snack and drink tea. Sometimes we pay cribbage or make a trek ‘downtown’. Heaven.

See that space at the top of the jar? That’s for July 2012.

My 365 project has reminded me of the lovely memories held in simple things. What are you collecting?
